I’m not sure why people are giving this game one star when they obviously haven’t even given it a chance. I really like how no level is exactly the same and how you can change up any level just by changing the leader Pokémon. You only have 4 seconds to put the icons you want together and you have to plan out every move if you want to beat the level. I too thought it would be easy just from looking at the video of connecting the Pokémon icons, but boy was I wrong. I also had trouble on a couple of levels, but what fun is an easy game? They put power ups in the game for a reason and unlike other games they are relatively easy to obtain. I have seen some reviews on this game saying ‘I can’t get past level 20’ ‘it was cute at first but then I couldn’t get past this level without using a power up’ or whatever. But overall I think the game is very fun and enjoyable, and with these changes, it can be even better.
It would make training and getting more staff members much more incentivized. I don’t understand why the rewards stop at a fairly early number. Another suggestion I have is giving us more rewards for cumulative staff level / number of staff. While I understand it is so that players that were not able to get the event Pokémon, or players that were not playing when the event happened, I think it would make event pokemon much more valuable if there were some levels that are made for event pokemon’s gimmicks, with non-event pokemon being the next best choice that can still get the order done without having all the gimmicks locked down. It is cool to get a new Pokémon, recently like Flareon and Vaporeon, but it’s pretty obvious playing through the levels that they are all designed to be solved by a non-event Pokemon, that is, by Pokémon you get through normal gameplay and unlocking new recipes. One of the biggest suggestions I can offer is that more puzzles should be designed to be solved WITH an event Pokémon.
I love the puzzle designs, the art style is unique and cute, and we are given new orders very regularly.
